Funeral Services Shaped Around Green Lane Families
No two families grieve the same way, and no two services should look alike. We listen first, then help you create a farewell that reflects your loved one's faith, personality, and family traditions, at a pace that feels manageable.

A visitation followed by a funeral ceremony gives friends and neighbors time to gather and offer comfort. We coordinate every detail, from the viewing and the ceremony to the procession and committal at the cemetery of your choice.
Cremation with a Service
Choosing cremation does not mean giving up a gathering. Families can hold a visitation and funeral before cremation or a memorial service afterward, and we explain each option clearly so you can decide with confidence.
Personalized Memorial Tributes
Favorite music, displayed photographs, meaningful keepsakes, and a tribute video made from your family's own pictures help everyone in the room remember the life being honored.
Veterans Services
For those who served, we help arrange military funeral honors, secure the burial flag, and work through veterans' burial benefits so your family can focus on saying goodbye.
Pre-Planning Services
Recording your wishes ahead of time spares your family difficult guesswork later. You can start with our online planning form or sit down with us in person, without pressure of any kind.
Online Memorials and Tribute Videos
We build personalized online memorial pages where family and friends can share memories, post condolences, and view photographs. We also produce tribute videos for use at the service and for sharing with loved ones who are unable to attend.
Obituary Assistance
Our team works with families to write obituaries that capture a life fully and with care, and we publish service information online to make it easy to keep everyone informed.

About Green Lane, Pennsylvania
Green Lane is the smallest municipality in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, a borough of roughly 500 residents covering about three-tenths of a square mile in northwestern Montgomery County. It was once part of Marlborough Township and was incorporated in December 1875, but its story reaches back much further. In 1733, Thomas Mayburry built Green Lane Forge, the earliest ironworks in the Perkiomen Valley, and the town is named for the evergreens that once shaded the winding lane leading to the forge. The ironmaster's house at 100 Main Street, known today as the William and Caroline Schall House, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The borough's Pennsylvania German heritage lives on at Red Men's Hall on Gravel Pike, a 1908 lodge building that has been home to the Goschenhoppen Historians and their museum since 1971. Just outside town, Green Lane Park spreads across roughly 3,400 acres of Montgomery County parkland, with trails, water, a band shell that hosts summer concerts, and the annual Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival. Green Lane shares the Upper Perkiomen School District with Red Hill, Pennsburg, and East Greenville, and its homes and businesses use the 18054 ZIP code.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should we do first if a loved one passes away at home in Green Lane?
If the death was unexpected, call 911 first. If your loved one was under hospice care, contact the hospice nurse, who will confirm the death. Once that step is complete, call us at (215) 679-6400, and we will bring your loved one into our care and explain what comes next.
Can the funeral be held at our own church?
Yes. Many families prefer a service at their home congregation, and we coordinate with clergy and church staff throughout the Upper Perkiomen Valley and beyond. The service can also be held at our funeral home in Red Hill if that suits your family better.
How do you help families honor a veteran?
We help arrange military funeral honors, obtain the United States burial flag, and guide your family through Department of Veterans Affairs burial benefits, including eligibility for burial at a national cemetery such as Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Bucks County.
Is it possible to plan my own funeral in advance?
Yes. You can begin with the online planning form on our website or schedule a conversation with our staff. Recording your wishes now gives your family clear direction and spares them from making every decision during a difficult time.
How can relatives who live far away stay involved?
We post service dates and times on an online memorial that can be shared by text, email, or social media. Relatives can leave condolences, upload photos, and order flowers from local florists through the obituary page, even if they cannot travel to Red Hill.
