Verna B. (Kulp) Myers, 93, of Pennsburg, passed away at the Pennsburg Manor on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Born in Red Hill, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Rella (Dunkle) Kulp and the beloved wife of the late Earl Myers and the late LeRoy R. Myers, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Myers were married for 56 years until Mr. Myers' death in 1996. Mrs. Myers retired as a seamstress for Daut Manufacturing Co. in 1975. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5954 of Red Hill, lifetime member of the Red Hill Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary , member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sumneytown, and member of Pike Township Sportsmen's Association in Oley. Mrs. Myers is survived by her two sons Richard E. Myers and LeRoy R. Myers, Jr. (Nancy) both of Red Hill; two daughters Judith L. Cressman (Keith) of Red Hill and Linda J. Hagenbuch (Donald) of E. Greenville; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and three step great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her grandson Scott Cressman; brothers Harry, Norman, Oliver, Clarence, Eugene, and John Kulp; and sister Elsie Walters. Funeral services will be private.
