Lloyd L. Simpson, 82, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 11, 2021.  Born in Hempfield, PA, he was the son of the late Loretta May (Hamilton) and Lloyd Leonard Simpson.  He was also the stepson of the late Lois Simpson and beloved husband of the late Cathy A. Simpson.

Lloyd retired from the United States Navy after 25 years of service.  He also worked at Hatfield Quality Meats as a meatpacker.  He enjoyed puzzles and the outdoors, especially camping and fishing.

He is survived by his daughters, Dolores McMillen, of Pennsburg, Tammi Kratz (Kenneth), of Boyertown, Kristle Simpson (Brad Smith), of Pennsburg, Michelle Simpson, and Mary Simpson Hancock; son, Jonathan Boyd-Simpson (Sara); nine grandchildren, Logan, Madison, Makena, Bryce, Brayden, Noah, Jason, Allie, and Tressie; and seven great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his daughter, Martharuth Simpson; grandson, Adam; and two sisters, Mary Ellen and Iva Ruth.
