Obituary

Joan Leslie (Craig) Waldrup of North Wales passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 24, 2024.  She was 72 years old.  Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Leslie English and Dorothy Elizabeth (Jones) Craig.  She was also the beloved wife of David Eugene Waldrup for 52 years.

Joan worked as a phlebotomist and served as the president of the arts and crafts club at the Villages of Neshaminy Falls.  Her favorite pastimes included reading, bowling, horseback riding, and attending stock car races. She especially loved visiting and making memories with her family and friends in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.

In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her three daughters, April Voeks (Todd) of Hatfield, Patti Fitzpatrick of North Wales, and Bonnie Mirarchi (Mike) of Sellersville; five grandchildren, Corey, Kylie, Ayla, Abriana, and Avalina; three sisters, Carlieze "Bunny", Ethel "Dolly", and Debbie; her niece, Debbie; nephew, Tony Craig, as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Gail, and her brothers, Chuck and Lee Craig.

Relatives and friends are invited to an open house celebrating Joan's life on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 12pm to 4pm at the Talking Teacup, 301 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914. Parking is available at the Talking Teacup as well as at the karate parking lot next door. Interment will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Monaghan Funeral Home, Inc. (215) 679-6400
