Helen R. (Derr) Fegley, a lifetime resident of Upper Perkiomen Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 26, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospice House.  She was 89 years old.  Born in Chapel, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer D. and Stella (Schuler) Derr.  She was also the beloved wife for 58 years to the late Maynard T. Fegley, who died in 2009.

Helen worked as a machinist for Knoll Industries in East Greenville for 20 years until her retirement in 1992.  She was also the loving mother to her three sons, David M. (Grace), of Macungie, Ron L. (Lynn), of Gilbertsville, and Neil R. (Kimberly), of Pennsburg; three daughters, Sheila Lapinski (Ed), of Red Hill, Donna Kolb (David Rambo), of Collegeville, and Sharon Fegley, of Red Hill; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband, she is also predeceased by one grandchild.

Funeral services will be private at the request of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's name are requested to the Alzheimer's Association in remembrance of Maynard T. Fegley.
