Ernest M. Sickel, Jr. of Red Hill passed away on May 21, 2023.  He was 81 years old.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Mary (Pickett) and Ernest M. Sickel, Sr.  He was also the beloved husband of Verna (Long) Sickel.

Ernest worked as a truck driver and owned his own trucking company.  In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, making golf clubs, and listening to oldies music.

In addition to his wife, he will be dearly missed by his three daughters, Theresa Biehn of Spinnerstown, Melissa Sharpe of Hideaway, TX, and Mandy Sickel-Smith of Middletown, CT; seven grandsons, William, Robert, Brad, Caleb, Micah, Andrew, and Tobias; five great grandchildren, Paisley, Kaysen, Trexler, Savannah, and Sophie; four sisters, Mary, Melanie, Sherry, and Judy; one brother, Roy; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters, Marlene and Christine; and brother, Frankie.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 12 Noon at New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery, 1070 Church Rd, East Greenville, PA 18041.
