Edmund John Healy, 59, of Lower Macungie, passed away unexpectedly in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on April 6, 2022. He was the loving and devoted husband of Deborah Ann (Rieger) Healy for more than 31 years.

Edmund was born in Newark, NJ to the late Joseph and Mary (Milne) Healy. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and Temple University Beasley School of Law. After law school, he clerked for Judge John P. Lavelle and Judge Richard W. Webb in Carbon County. He went on to work for the Law Offices of Steckel and Stopp in Slatington for 23 years before establishing his own private practice. Edmund was a devout Catholic and the spiritual pillar of his family. He was also a talented musician who played the trombone, piano, and violin and was a member of several bands while in high school and college. He loved traveling, tending to his lawn, keeping up with world affairs, and attending concerts and shows.  He was also an avid long-distance cyclist in his youth. He will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, love of family, sense of humor, and unwavering moral compass.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Stephen Healy of Stamford, CT, and Michael Healy of Hershey, PA. Everyone who knew Edmund saw how much he beamed with pride when speaking of Stephen and Michael.
