It is with great sadness on the passing of Chuck Stroop in his sleep on 8/26/2022. He was 82. He is greatly missed by his son Rob (Barb) Stroop and daughter Ginny (John) Clary, his two granddaughters Lexi and Madi Hamilton, his siblings, Kenny (Mary) Stroop, Jeanette Root, and Laurene Stroop, his ex son-in-law Randy Hamilton, longtime friend Leerae Riggs, and longtime friend Mac McBride. He was affectionally known as Chuckster, Chuckles and Uncle Huck (by his adult nieces and nephews).  He was the son of the late Melvin and Juanita Stroop. He graduated from Pottstown High School in 1958, served in the Army, was member of VFW and a carpenter by trade. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He loved his granddaughters coming over to take care of him and visiting most recently and was very much in-touch and involved with his family. The funeral will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the New Hanover Church Cemetery, 2941 Lutheran Rd, Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
