Bernadette "Ann" Bykowski of Red Hill passed away on December 26, 2023 at 89 years old. Born in Butler, PA, she was one of nine children to Louis and Frances (Young) Bournique, and the beloved wife of the late Thomas Bykowski.
After retiring from Asplundh in Horsham, PA, Ann moved to sunny Florida to spend time with her sisters Barby and Bette. She occupied her time playing cards, reading, cooking, traveling, and volunteering at the Chamber of Commerce in Bonita Springs where she resided until 2017. During her younger years in Roslyn, PA, she was an avid bowler. Being a devout Catholic, Ann was a member of the St. Philip Neri Parish in Pennsburg.
Most of all, she was a loving sister, mother, grandmother (Grammy), and great grandmother (Gigi). She is survived by two sisters, Barby Richards and Bette Bournique; five children, Elaine Bykowski, Jim Bykowski (Natalia), Joan Stites, Judith Bykowski, and Glenn Bykowski; nine grandchildren, Corinne Alexaki, Kristin (Steven) Vegh, Benjamin (Brittany) Stites, Christopher (Paulina) Alexaki, Amanda Krebs, Tyler Krebs, Tom Bykowski, Rose Bykowski, and Katie Bykowski; and four great grandchildren, Benjamin Chance, Zaylynn Vegh, Ella Vegh, and Angelina Alexaki.
Friends and relatives are invited to Ann's funeral Mass on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00am in the chapel at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073, with Msgr. Charles P. Vance officiating. Please note: Mass will not be held in the main church. Interment will be private.
